1999
Nanni Diesel expanded its business internationally, with dealers in
24 European countries and a beachhead in the American market.
With backing from ANVAR (the French international agency for innovation),
and working in close cooperation with Kubota, the company introduced a new
130 HP “clean” turbo engine.
2000
The company reached the rank three in the world for the diesel engines
marinization in the bracket of power from 10 to 300 HP.
2001 In March 2001, Nanni signed an exclusive contract with Toyota for the
marinization and worldwide distribution of turbo diesel engines supplied by
the Japanese carmaker.
2003
Nanni Diesel enlarged its activity with: the 6.240 TDI Toyota-based, an in-line 6 cylinder of 320 HP; the Sail-drive range Kubota-based, applicable on 10 to 62 HP engines for
the mono-hull and multi-hull sailing yachts which will enter the market in
2004/2005.
2004 Nanni Diesel signed in July an exclusive contract for the distribution of
the Daewoo engines in France, in the French-speaking countries and in north
Africa.
