NANNI DIESEL IN A FEW DATES
1952
Nanni is born in Milan (Italy) initially working on
marinization of Faryman industrial engines.
1982
Opening of a manufacturing plant in France
and another in Holland, where Kubota and
Mercedes-based engines are marinized. At the same
time, the company takes over Renault's marine
business.
1988 Nanni Diesel signs a major
contract with MAN, and switches from Mercedes
engines to MAN engines.
1991
Nanni Diesel concentrates its business
activity in France , with the foundation of Nanni
Industries S.A in the La Teste industrial estate (in
the Bassin d’Arcachon in the Aquitaine region).
1997-98
Nanni Diesel renews its range of Kubota-based
engines and adds a new 115 HP turbo engine to it .
All engines marinized by Nanni Diesel comply with
the anti-pollution standards established by BSO
approval for Lake Constance. The emission levels of
Kubota-based engines are lower than specified by BSO
level 2, in accordance with European community
standards which must be complied with from 2005. |
